I like some of Genndy's high drama and high concept action scenes way more than what Lucas did in the proper prequels. In hindsight this kind of a cheap shot because what George was doing must have been a humongous pain in the ass and had a lot of merit but sadly, the action on the cartoon has aged a lot better and is much better paced, sleek and readable, while being all sorts of batshit crazy thanks to animation. I've always thought Anakin should have done something brutal but inspired by a sense of justice like what he does with the Techno union and those mutated tribesmen by the time of Attack of the Clones. Instead of you know, just murdering a bunch of Tusken in revenge like a crazed animal. That should have somehow been moved onto the third movie, would have been a much better fit for his moral degradation.
