Here’s a shitty idea, how about sega just completely stops trying to make a fucking game for at least 8 years, do we really need games? Just
>up the quality of the comics
>make a new tv show/anime, anything animated with a nice story
>introduce some nice new characters for people to obsess over
>make figures of the new characters and any power up alternate form that appears in the show
>then once enough years have passed make a new game featuring a bunch of the stuff from the comic or show

Hell you can even be lazy and not make new characters just bring back all the obscure ones and people will be happy to see them again
