This is the result of the second option (the highlighted one). If you had a bossrosahl token saved up you could use that to steal his technique before this point, and end up with both.
I didn’t find any way to ininitly gain power from taio even though I did do the demonic cultivation bit on this particular run. I assume anon fixes these loopholes as part of the next chapter update.
