That sounds like an eventfull experience, real brave of you too. I was never too keen on summer camping, but then again i was never even encouraged with it.

>Another fun part of the camp was since we had the only open feild in what was otherwise miles of dense forest, it was the only place around to land helicopters to airlift people who would get into accidents on the nearby highway. So the plan was always to throw a "surprise pool party" to keep them 1. Distracted and 2. In an enclosed area whilst the rest of the staff turned the front feild into a make shift airport basically. It's quite the experience to have a helicopter land right in front of you.

Surely there werent accidents that often.... right?
