Just accept that the logical endpoint of this style of boss rush gameplay is a 3D shmup. Shadow of the Erdtree was already 90% downtime waiting for the bosses to stop, Nightreign should've taken the final step and changed attacking to be an automatic action so the player can focus completely on dodging the beamspam.
