I like the idea of there being other villains in the world of Mario that he occasionally finds and stops. I don't mind them looking similar to Bowser, being some oversized animal that also happens to breathe fire/lightning or spit bubbles or something at you. K. Rool and his pirates could also be fun for a side game too.
