It's not about what's likely anymore, it about what's obvious at this point. Fujimoto is going out of his way to depict how bad Denji is to Asa and how much she's cucked, abused and neglected in his presence. Yoshida however is not only slowly building a relationship with her, but he's also logically the only person in the manga that can help her against Yoru, Death devil and now Denji too who's the villain's pawn. He's also the only one who's the same as her in terms of personality, and he's desperate to save the world from a horrible fate, same as she is.

Their goals and interests align, and the only thing they need to do to cooperate is for Asa to weaponize Denji for him.

Kekarooo. I need not do any such thing. The manga is long ways away from ending AsaDen cuck. But I can tell you this: Asa had more intimate moments with Yoshida then she did with Denji - Yoshida and Asa held hands during the arc where she wanted to hold hands (but got rejected by Denji), they talked about their outlooks on life, morals and ideals, and especially about their opinions on relationships. Asa and Denji never talked about a single intimate thing ever. And this is not even the start of Asa's relationship with Yoshida, and already she had more intimacy with him than Denji.

Asa and Denji's interactions are over whale. Denji will accept the job of killing Asa and Yoru next chapter.
