My contrarianism was so bad that I used to listen to music in Youtube, and if I enjoyed a song but noticed it had a lot of views (10 million for example) I suddenly hated it.

I'm older now and I'm enjoying the popular stuff more and more, but that's still how I am. I still roll up the window of my car if a song I like also happens to be popular. But hey, 10 years ago I wouldn't even listen to the song at all so it's progress.
