>Complex
Pretty much always only matters in the teambuilding stage, the gameplay itself is autobattle-level outside maybe the occasional challenge mission you didn't outscale eons ago.
>Generous
Was more of a problem early on when gambling laws were less established. Now it's relatively true that you can clear most gachas as a f2p, but that's not a selling point when it's a problem exclusive to gachas anyways.
>Free Units
Lolno, there's not a single gacha unaffected by powercreep. Not to mention there are many occasions where the devs feel the need to make a problem and sell the solution. Also a gacha-only problem.
>Story
There are gachas with good stories, but the quality is never consistent, and 90% of gacha stories are simple stories you'd see in any vidya. Many of them are slow burns that end up not being worth it. There's like, 2 gachas with a story I'm still invested in.
>Soundtrack
Gachas, like a lot of games, tend to have some fucking bangers. Not a reason to play them since you can just listen to the OST online.
