It's either reviewers who think they're comedians or more often literal whos, who have less than 200 views on videos.
After some time, I started skipping these steps entirely and just jumping in entirely blind.
Everyone shits on /v/ but I had more luck discussing obscure games here than anywhere else on the internet.
