I don't know how much further I should push this so i'll post this tonight and continue tomorrow.
i think ponies have to eat more food to keep their magic so Cadence/Celestia/Twilight probably have to eat a lot of food all the time. It would make sense why Twilight eats those burgers like a fucking maniac since she's an alicorn. A regular horse eats 15,000 calories per day, so Cadence (who is quite tall and magical) would absolutely be eating more than 40,000. Maybe even 100,000.
