The bike double standard needs to die. If you can't safely keep up with traffic, get off the road, or at least yield to the cars behind you.
There's this awful bike fag here that does the "pool noodle hack," where you drape a pool noodle on your bike so people can't pass you easily. He insists on riding on the road, even though he always creates a traffic jam behind him. BUT, even though he wants to be a car, he doesn't follow any traffic laws. He runs every red light. He skips stop signs. he doesn't signal. They always want it both ways.
