I love bicycles. I like to ride them for transportation, enjoyment and exercise. I like many types of bicycles. For a time in my life I started to get into "cycling" but I found it to be infested with the most obnoxious and arrogant tryhard assholes imaginable. That is not to say that all "cyclists" are assholes but a very large amount of them are. Drivers should still be respectful of cyclists and follow road laws though because being an asshole isn't a crime and unsafe driving can very easily kill someone.

But I don't understand the issue here. The law here in Poland is, bikes must stay on the right side of the road (unless preparing to turn, change lanes, etc.), so 95% of the time, cars have zero issues overtaking them.
Either the US traffic law is the same and you retards expect them to literally get off the road when you approach them, in which case, LOL, stop being entitled and learn to drive. I don't know about other states, but in California, a bicycle is a "vehicle" and thus falls under Vehicle Traffic Code. You can get a moving violation for running a stop sign or red light, even speeding. And get points on your licence. The newest law is you have to give at least 3 feet when passing a cyclist.

I have an e-bike that I use mostly to ride around my neighborhood. I also take it to my buddy’s house about 4 miles away on a route consisting of sidewalks and a bike lane. The only time I’m on the non-bike land road is to cross a road at traffic lights. I have to slow down for other casual bikers and pedestrians (or go around them). My bike is a class 2 that tops out at 20mph but I’m probably going 15mph on average and I can still go faster than most cyclists I see in the adjacent road holding up traffic and pissing off drivers.
