Definitely a downgrade in her case. The Amazones event shows Achilles can manage to flee from combat against two of them so whatever strength boost she got from being a Berserker isn't worth the trade-off of losing her reasoning and being subjected to tunnel vision. Even if Penthesilea does overpower him now that she is a Berserker, she can't make good use of that unless she is lucid enough to either recognize that or listen to a command of someone else. The irony is she has the tactical skill to make those choices even as a Berserker, but the moment she goes, well, Berserk, she loses that.
