Relax anon, don't let demoralization get to you. People like what they like. You can't change their tastes, only appreciate your own.
During the early 2000's television would promote these models that looked like they had 1% body fat and all I could be was confused what was beautiful about that. And then I thought about the traits I found beautiful in women, both physical and personality, and focused on that. No matter how many times someone went 'awooooga' to someone like Megan Fox I would just go 'alright well good for them for liking that'. I never got the appeal myself though. Pic related was always more my preference.
