How is he wrong though. That type of technology exists in Apache helicopters going back to like the 90s. And it's not a gun that's the point. It doesn't have to account for recoil, heat dissipation, pressure, or the cycling of a bolt and movement of ammunition the same as a firearm does. It coud have looked like a paintball gun or a potato gun or any other similar thing or a flashlight for that matter
