why do tendie secondary turd worlders always out themselves in the most hilarious ways. if we look at the overall meta series, which includes xenogears and xenosaga, then xenoblade 2 is the real black sheep. it is nothing like ANY of the other games tonally. Whether or not you like it is a moot point, you cannot pretend that it is a good representation of the series. Even if we only look at the Xenoblade games themeslves, tonally it is nothing like 1, X, or 3. I swear to fucking god there are so many of you shitty nin toddlers who picked up the series after mythra and pyra (if we use their english names) were introduced into smash and so your entire reference point for a massive series is this borderline slop shonen 1 off that is nothing like any of the other games.
Now, that being said, i dont dislike 2 as a whole. There is a lot to love about it, especially the environments and a few of the characters.
But holy fuck is it way too full of too much over the top cringy shonen humor slop moments WAY too often. And they do a huge disservice to an otherwise extremely important and emotional story about Pyra and Mythra. Rex has to be one of the worst jrpg protagonists of all time if we only look at his portrayal in 2 and not in 3's FR(unironically he WAS redeemed in future redeemed).
