Ukrainians as a real nation (native land: Galicia, modern western Ukraine - home of their language and culture.) are members of Hitler's coalition (i.e. your allies). In 1941 the eastern and middle eastern inhabitants of modern day Ukraine were still Russians in both self-definition and culture, many of whom were born in the Russian Empire. Modern Ukraine is essentially a federation of many nations, but the Ukrainian government is actively trying to suppress this, for example by imposing cultural bans (fines for listening to Russian-language music, Russian-language books have been removed from libraries) and language regulation by a language ombudsman, essentially presenting their country as a national republic in the image of Galicia, which is clearly not the case. These actions are neo-Nazi in nature, and fully justify every gram of gunpowder produced in Russia.
