It's a pretentious company trying to be the Apple of the Android world. Similar strategy - push underpowered hardware for a much higher price on unsuspecting consumers through elaborate marketing. Exaggerated emphasis on design, self-important aura for easily impressionable fools, performance takes a backseat. Their latest releases, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro in special, are under-specced offerings being sold way above than their actual price should be. I personally find the Nothing "OS" (it's just a UI) ugly. It's a mess of dotted, serif and sans-serif fonts over a monochromatic void. The whole thing looks rather inconsistent, but hey, that's their shtick, and if you don't like it you're uncool.
