If you can afford it, A36 all day. It's slightly better in terms or screen. The SnapDragon 6 Gen 3 is noticeably faster than the Dimensity 6300 in the A16 and the extra 4GB ram in the A36 will handle more apps and background processes.

Here's a stupid question then, why not make the entire screen made of regular glass except the corner that bends? Surely there's a way to seperate the plastic from the glass and make them look like they're combined, easier said than done doe.
Here's a better one, why not just make them separate displays with hinges instead and focus on making the bezels as small as possible? Either way its miles better than have the display scratch from a fucking fingernail.

Got an ipad air recently and it's pretty comfy with the pen.
11" is plenty for hobby stuff as well.
If you don't want to get a matte screen protector you can get a hydrogel or whatever it's called. (kinda plastic)
The pen will leave small marks, but when turned on it's unnoticeable, while the pen "digging in" gives you enough resistance to feel less slippery than glass.
I liked it more than expected honestly. You have to press really hard to make the grooves, but they also disappear after a thorough clean and a bit of time.
(pic rel. 1st image is hard pressure, 2nd is softer, 3rd is after wipe) Note it's not grease, this is on a freshly cleaned screen and you can physically feel the grooves before they are gone.
A foldable is likely similar type of plastic, so it would leave marks on the screen directly. Not sure if it can "heal".

Android drawing apps are generally worse even if it's by the same developer. If you want to have an on-the-go device you can probably carry the 11" easily.
I'm a manlet with small hands and I can still hold it in one hand and use the pen with another.
If portability is the reason you want one for drawing then you might want to consider this especially if price doesn't seem to be an issue for you, factoring in the cost of a foldable and all.

Haven't had issues with scratches but I'm using the case it came with. It rests on the edge of the lower camera otherwise, so I can see how quickly scratches could appear.
Haven't had any issues with the fake leather either but again, I'm using it in a case. The phone's well-built overall, I don't see anywhere in particular it could start peeling from.

It looks like the best bang-for-buck non-xiaomi phone in my region, but I'm genuinely scared from all the apparent "organic marketing" surrounding this company.
When I searched it up people had some real mixed opinions.
On paper I really like the idea of the essential space thing, if it was full offline. The AI shit really ruins it for me.
I currently use telegram self message in a similar way, screenshot, talk over, note to self type things.
Not 100% sure how I feel about the OS either, not the worst.

I have looked into it a bit and I've read that to even have the notes available you need to connect to the internet and let them process it because of the AI features in it.
So not only is it online it is hard locked online.
They will turn it into a subscription service, though that seems to be mostly a rumor for now I guess.

I've migrated from a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G (128GB 12GB RAM) to a Motorola Moto G15 (128GB 8GB+4GB -RAM boost). I had to after the screen of my Sammy became unresponsive after cracking. I'm pleasantly surprised. A downgrade that doesn't quite feel like a downgrade, except for the camera, and I can do with that because I now have a decent dedicated camera for photography. For under 120 bucks? Fuck yea. Repairing the Sammy would have cost me three times as much as that. I can also do with the slightly less snappy performance. An no fucking retarded glass back and massive glass piece over the camera array! I can't imagine myself investing over 1000 bucks in a fragile high end phone anytime soon when the Moto is ridiculously capable at just 120 bucks. I can use all my apps, even play the games I've used to on the Sammy, decent crispy IPS display, good side-mounted fingerprint reader... I'm still top fucking keking at how this is possible.
