Mind you star rail also wall of text characters but I just personally at a glance can go "oh this character supports this archetype" so its either simpler or it just clicked personally with me.
Main con IMO is misusing characters, aka the FGO special where they disappear forever after their introduction unless they are a writers pet and overuse of the "Mihoyo dress" character design making them visually "fine" but not really super outstanding.
Amusingly ZZZ does both of my complaints better by such an astounding degree its a wonder they are the same company. But lacks in the compelling story and fun gameplay modes.
