Why did Nintendo purposefully sabotage their bestselling franchise?

Nintendo literally has paid intermission DLC packs ready to go that consist of nothing but more intermissions (called "super connector routes" in the marketing). No I'm not joking. This is an actual leak. You will see the first pack drop in September. They are four extra long intermissions that stretch from one side of the map to the other.

This game is heavily biased towards certain tracks online. It always seems to finagle the same tracks.

>Salty Salty Speedway
>Desert Hills

When you start noticing it it's actually insane. Play 5 races and move to a new room and you're guaranteed to keep repeating certain tracks
