Hello anons.
I'm on day 3 of restarting a Feiten Campaign where I'm trying to play them quasi-optimally, getting into intense autism. Most mission trees I like the tree is hidden because it's new goals to accomplish, but the Feiten tree has hidden goals that get revealed after you complete a stage. Very annoying.
I'm also absolutely certain nobody has played an ironman run of this tag: You'd be stalled for 80 years multiple times when the mission tree and unique monument jumpscare you with "get 33 inno in yanshen + explo first idea set" and "btw you shouldn't have annexed more than 24 provinces"

Anyways, questions. I'm playing with the more ideas group mod that adds neat stuff like Logistics/Trade Management ideas that make my brain wrinke, if this is relevant to you.
Around about 1530-1550 you run into a brick wall as this nation. Haless is full of 80k men in the field + 150K manpower nations, and because you're playing a skyscraper tall nation you're extremely over forcelimit all the time. Vassals in the area are relatively useless unless you can get, like, Bianfang or the northernmost Yan nation as a vassal somehow.
Speaking of vassals, it seems like you're meant to go vassal centric here due to the low province limit so you can build semi-optimally in vassal lands. This leads to a dual problem: my vassals usually can muster like, 30k men tops before I start running into loyalty due to dev limits, and I can't fit influence+espionage+exploration before, like, 1650. Advice?
Do your artificers being space marines make up for your extremely limited manpower reserves? Advice for taking on someone like united Lake Federation or whatever behemoth wins the South Halessi thunderdome?
Your unique mechanic encourages taking high-dev inland centers of trade - but I'm at a loss as to how to actually take those provinces for myself due to coring restrictions. Good examples are Bianfang or Jianglusi's capital. Any work-arounds?
