The dev was just talking on his Discord today about how his other game, Tomboy Supremacy, pulls more supporters. That his SubscribeStar numbers dip during Extra Credit releases, then go back up during Tomboy Supremacy releases.
Extra Credit is missing something, but I can't really put my finger on what. Tomboy Supremacy has the hook of the redneck theme which people enjoy. Extra Credit is more forgettable. The writing itself is fine. I like Doc's comedic writing. Extra Credit writing is all very Doc-like. But the setting and relationship dynamics are bland and can feel a little directionless. Stuff just sort of happens and you have no idea what conclusion it's supposed to be heading towards. Like a cartoon that changes its theme every week, as opposed to a true sitcom where the events of the previous week heavily influence and dictate the next week's episode.
