this is the biggest reason behind its success imo. nintendo kind of dropped the bomb when it came to advertising the wii u and it's the main reason why the console kind of fell flat on it's face and never recovered.

even if splatoon never really recaptured the soul of the first entry...im still glad it's still thriving. love me some wii u era soul
