Holy heck. I've been catching up with some of the developments around the Harry Potter TV series - I have to admit I haven't been paying the closest attention - seems they started pre-production last month with filming starting today.

Anyway this news article caught my eye:

Warner Bros. has been granted permission to build a 600-pupil school ahead of Harry Potter filming.

If anything that just brings home the absolute scale of this project. They're building a school on because they're going to be making this for the next eight / ten years.
