Kek, probably at least an ounce of truth in your post, but seriously, for any soldier that DOESN'T need to have a side arm, the M4 is fine, honestly, unless you are planning on parading high ranking (or specialist) soldiers without a proper firearm through a neighborhood I doubt having a 16 round capacity would matter much.
IMO the biggest use for a sidearm is to arm pilots, specialist troops such as medics or snipers, or as a semi-ceremonial role where weapons are otherwise not (generally) needed. Either that or protecting generals from getting fragged. Either give em' an M4 or 1911, no need for much else. If an officer is caught in a situation where 8-10 rounds of .45 are inadequate, they were practically dead anyways.
