poor world scaling conflicts, character work doesn't get better for most and outright is insultingly trite in some major characters, magic system is a bit too masturbatory like honestly print little symbols and +100 experience points like Dungeon Carl it's egregious, and he can't write intimacy or emotional depth outside of a few good dynamics (i.e. responsible father/cool edgy bro)
