>America having drastically different weather is so absurd to me
Definitely, my dad would often listen to radio stations in North Dakota with his satellite radio because "better songs and less ads" and hearing them describe 80F as "scorching heat" was plain absurd to hear. Then again if it did just barely dip below freezing I'd be crying about it being too cold, stones and glass houses and all that.
Cars suck, I'll shit on yuros for how dumb their bikes and weirdo roads look, but seeing smog in the air every summer because there's no rain to disperse it is downright depressing. Doubly so if there's wildfires going on. The price of convenience I suppose.
>the view of being in a small town with like 30 houses distributed upon a 50 kilometer area is sooo... airy
I said small, but in a relative kind of way compared to the modern metropolises. There's buildings everywhere but no highrises or any crap like that. There's grass and trees and shit on the outskirts, but someone owns that so no trespassing.

Tracking someone down, even when you already know who they are, is a very tedious process.
Just use the "anonymize filenames" option on 4chanx if you're that concerned about internet stalkers.
