I don't know why you are having so much trouble enjoying FEAR for what it is.

Again, there is no fucking sprint in FEAR. I've played the game countless times, love it to bits. It's ok to appreciate slow games. Bicycle kick barely has any forward momentum, and slide has a pretty long recovery to boot. Only 3 could qualify as a speedy game, and the melee is much more viable and fluid there.

It barely moves any faster than smg and pistol in that webm, if at all. Not at all reasonable to suggest during combat encounter. Don't pretend you've meant this in the first place, it's unsightly.
