Im sure this question gets asked all the time but im going to ask again. My kids are finally old enough where i don't have to constantly monitor them and i have achieved a position in my company where i essentially can do fuck all thanks to A.I and my co-workers/boss being retarded boomers. I have decided to play some wow but i have not played since Cata and i am torn between Classic anniversary or retail. Classic seems fun but i kind of want a brand new current experience that is regularly updated but war within feels a little late into the expansion to really get into it.

What do you guys recommend? Should i play Anniversary until the next retail expansion or should i just get right into war within now?
