Had fun with all of the monk specs and enjoyed both dh specs desu. Monks have been eating good the whole expansion but currently I feel like crashing out in pvp if I have to face one more frost mage, evoker or MM hunter.
DH got inertia changed so it has helped out with making havoc feel less gibbed. Still has issues with identity and stagnant future going forward but both specs feel ideal for casual content.

Then there is the anti-christ which is paladin atm. Why the actual fuck are rets more braindead that fucking fury warriors right now? Classic is only worth it for the nostalgia. The social aspect that made WoW what it was has been ripped apart by minmaxing autists. Not that it matters much if you're looking at dozens of hours leveling and getting immersed in the world. End game was never really the point of Classic imo.
Retail is a more "game" game, but very action and little RPG.
Almost everything is bound to account save for your characters actual gear, so you can swap characters very quickly, but it also means you don't get as attached to one.
Classes are more fun to play than pressing the same button every 4 seconds, but that comes with possible bloat and playing optimally is very hard, they even added a single-button that does a (not optimal) rotation for you.

grab the 691 belt from the overcharged delves too and then just be a delvin melvin for bountiful delve gear

which is very simple, that is OG quality level.

So overall, WoW does have better quality animations most of the time. But that isn't fair to say as OG has many more however.

A 1070 has 8 gb of vram, you should be able to set max texture res.

I set max texture res, and I play with a 1060 6gb. The texture memory thrashes if I have too many firefox windows open.
