Speaking from my experience:

Timberlands have some of the highest platform I have come across among boots. You can easily sneak in a lift such as >>18484713 for further boost. Boots are easy to add a lift unlike low top shoes.

For shoes you can't rely on lifts so you have to get a shoe with a platform or a hidden wedge.
For platforms check out Vagabond, they make some platform derbies and boots, though they look chunky

For discreet hidden wedges see
- Hogan sneakers, which are high street luxury and high quality even disregarding the lift they give. The Hogan Interactive stands out as the highest discreet lift I have found in a sneaker without a chunky sole.
