>resize design to required size on phone screen
>masking tape over it, lightly pencil in the shape needed
>move tape to cutting mat, sharpie over pencil'd part
>cut out mask, apply, and paint in (with enamel black)
>when dry remove
>roughly have the shape of the design
>enter the nightmare torture chamber and use picrel+lighter fluid to "sculpt" it and reapplying paint when needed to get it to current state
