I recently watched the trilogy for the first time and I feel like it was the last of the classic fantasy movie.
I'm not saying these effects good but they were cheesy in an entertaining way (like that shot of Sauron in the opening)
Then there's stuff like Elrond title dropping and pulling swords out of his coat just to look cool
