>>212717171>Galadriel was objectively one of the strongest beings outside of the undying lands.Yes but so is half a dozen other guys. Sauron was fucking terrified of Aragorn's magical abilities as well (he had the potential to claim the One Ring as his rightful property via inheritance and right of conquest by Isildur)
But when trying to boast how powerful a character is fanoids only attempt to misrepresent the basic facts of the published books when it comes to Galadriel, though.
There's a narrative that Galadriel is an unsung hero that isn't appreciated for her power. It's not a narrative started by 2020's corporate justice warriors for Rings of Power, it was actually started by Tolkien himself: he wrote LotR but then has pages of manuscripts where he's basically trying to justify why Galadriel is such a giga-badass even though she doesn't really ever do much.
My theory is he always had 2 types of women he was attracted to, and he was allowed to indulge idealising one of these types in classic autistic fashion by writing about Luthien and Arwen as dark haired perfect pretty princesses. But he had to suppress his fetish for blonde tomboys and as he got older it broke out more and more via his attempted rewrites for Galadriel.

>Gandalf>Bilbo>to an extent, Aragorn>Galadriel>Frodo>Sam>Frodo again in spectacular fashionAnd yet it's not depicted with a special effect for them, only for Galadriel.
