Summer. I've come to appreciate summer. Heat waves and insects are still the worst but the good moments of summer are really good. It has the longest sunset times, the night breeze after a warm day feels great and you get those inexplicably good, quiet days. Those days are incredible. There's nothing like reading through a lengthy Touhou doujin series with the window open and a gentle breeze rustling the trees outside. Everyone in the house is doing their own thing and taking it easy and then you top off the day by sitting outside with some watermelon during the golden hour.
