So here's the twist.
The Bible and arguably the Torah too are simply part of usual perennial cultural cycles of religion/philosophy which mirror economic and worldy authority; In which overly complex, Synchretic or amalgamated traditions are rectified, consolidated or covered up to make way for the new(usually after some mystic factions win over others). Much of the inspiration for the old testament stems from older/local traditions which indeed are also Caananite. The difference being they're sanitized and edited to have "He who must not be named" as the narrator or Deity; When it's a plurality or not even a God as the original witness/watcher for the source material.
You see this in Egypt as well with Akenaten establishing Aten as the sole deity(similar to YHVH and the old Elohim/Caananite Pantheon). In his case, it was apparently his brainchild and reflection of aspects of himself as divine emenation. You can sort of see him as a "Man of Perdition" of sorts.
The difference with YHVH is that it's impartial/abstract and part of a schema(Typhonian even). It's scientific epistemology and religion. So it's Ego/Intellect/Order without identity, easy to understand why something like Gatou would later emerge from these concepts. Judean Kritarchy made fertile ground for this reform, along with their contemporary schools of philosophy; Then later the Hellenics and Neo Platonists for the Christians.
