Joking? JOKING? Some of the best pieces of world building I've seen came from this thread- I remember a genuine discussion about homebrew FTL and someone had the idea of "Cut/Paste" FTL where the the original ship and crew are wiped from reality and are pasted back into reality in another location. Better explained by the Anon who made it if I recall. Genuinely, I see some of the most honest, and intellectually conversations here than anywhere else on the internet. It's baffling. I'm not gonna complain though, /xeno/ is a nice board for getting hard and getting hard at work for sci-fi world building.
