Anyways, ramen. The dish evolved from Chinese noodle dishes in the early 1900’s, and became popular in Japan post WW2. Yet it’s way more popular than the Chinese dishes it was derived from.
Honestly I don’t think people would hold Japanese food in high regard if it weren’t for ramen.
