Not only he refused to explain why the Dwarfs were getting their caravans raided, but also told the Dwarf High King that if he wanted an explanation he should come and beg for one himself. Letting this insult slide, the Dwarf High King sent yet another envoy who made Caledor II so assmad that he shaved the Dwarf ambassador and kicked him off Ulthuan. By this point the Dwarfs were seething and calling for war, and there wasn't much else the High King could do to placate them anymore since there's only so much shit he could take.
