I bought Quake 3 in 1999 and I can still play it. I can make a server and set up online with other people.
It's crazy this isn't the norm anymore.
Devs and publishers have become so complacent and lazy that I wouldn't mind if they were forced to release the source codes for all games they ever developed and then disband for good. It's not like they can make anything good anymore since most talented people left, and we can at least salvage the things that are worth something.
Fuck these greedy cunts, I wish for nothing but their destruction for the sake of culture, art and media preservation.
