Eh, whatever. This does show that Monica is probably still alive though, because her body would've been right next to the vase. If explorers can find it that means she wasn't crushed, so either she escaped on her own or they rescued her. Still, incredibly weird to see the traveler's disregard for her life, when they've spent time and effort to rescue way worse people who actively tried to kill them before.
