Lady, there are TWO doctors within 100kms of where I live who will prescribe estrogen at all. For the last 6 months one of them has been on leave, the other one isn't taking new patients, I had to get multiple people to beg him to take me on, and even then it was a three month wait.
So I have to go in there with priority that he does not decide he doesn't want to treat me any more. So his comfort as a doctor is my priority as a patient, because the thing I literally cannot live without is on the line. That is a SICKENING situation. I'm "lucky" I have a doctor at all, I have friends at the start of their journey who don't even have this.
And he doesn't know what he's doing. He's just the one doctor who will prescribe HRT on informed consent. He's not actually doing anything medical for me, he's just the guy I have to go to to say "please sir, may I have some medicine?"
