I believe, genuinely and unironically, that Silent Hill would be scarier as a walking simulator.

The scariest moments in these games were when i was just walking around and taking in the ambience, the gameplay itself was just a worse Silent Hill, if i wanted that i could just boot up Deadly Silence in the Nintendo DS.
