Im a zoomer and I dont really like this style. So far, my favorite game has been outlast. Since I played in 2014 I really havent found any game to compete, maybe little nightmares? I like games with lore in it, Outlast 3 was a huge disapointment to me becuase it has no lore and it was a game projected to be cooperative. I think it's possible to have light combat moments in the game. It would be trivial shit, but it would be better than the immersion-breaking combat, which unfortunately is a staple of the series. That's not what I mean. Designers can create a more immersive experience. Look at how SH4 traded the peep show thing for the SH puzzle and combat formula, and it's considered the worst Team Silent SH game. It would be a much better game if it were entirely in the protagonist's room. I think SM was the only game that really went for the concept, and although the execution wasn't as good as it should have been, the game ended up being quite forward with a lot of interactives and a different approach to how SH is played. It was like an adventure game, it was even more immersive in the Wii version with the motion controls.
