I meant that people wanted this. And it applies to other characters too. Take the black suit for spidey in the BP. It really fucks up the design of the classic one and makes it look worse than it needs to be.

Or the hellfire cap skin not having the trench coat hang off his shoulders like a cap among other things about it.
