It's a fun gameplay extension that adds context to the combat, scenarios, and fights with factions in that you're always collecting their girls, and thus the content scales naturally and near-infinitely with the amount of faction mods with new characters and fuckable female portraits they might add
Definitely a cheatmod for the campaign layer, in the sense that it makes working up a stable of optimal officers easier, and far more flexible, but still a cheatmod I'll happily play with in every playthrough; too used to enjoying the mechanics. I just put on ruthless sec and starpocalypse to make up for it.
