FF Dimensions is basically FF5 except depending on your taste the jobs are more interesting. The main difference between the two is that you have 2 separate parties with access to different jobs. That being said I think bard/dancer/magus/devout/memorist are more interesting jobs in FFD than whatever FF5 brings to the table, the most memorable job there was blue mage and spellblade.
If I am being honest I think FF5 and FFD are very close in terms of which game is better but I prefer FFD.
That being said, nothing has yet to beat bravely default (salve-maker/spiritmaster), bravely second (wizard), or octopath (Alfyn/Castti). Octopath also has the benefit of JP being universal, making messing with your setup infinitely more fun than any other job based game as you progress.
