thats one of the more aggressive bosses in the game to begin with, and i kinda remember the floor exploding in that area. the games not that easy to begin with, no shame in dying as you make youre way through the first run. Just be aware that youre health bar can get waaay bigger and constantly scan the environment, i missed a ton of cores and sword upgrades my first playthrough. and as i said to other people in another post earlier, make sure you get all the cans in your first run or you will be gimping yourself by not having max item capacities
